The country is currently deeply divided on many political and social issues. The close elections of the past 8 years show an increasing divide that must be bridged if we are to remain politically healthy, strong and effective. We risk much by continuing to think of our country as being divided between RED states and BLUE states. We need more PURPLE BRIDGING! Specific Social Studies curriculum and Communications/Psychology Curriculum is available for teaching and learning about such bridging possibilities.
