About Scott

Scott Hannon is one of the top educators in the country in the crossover of four domains: teaching, school counseling, facilitator of professional development workshops, and adaptive leadership consulting.

He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Economics from UC Berkeley, a Master's Degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education (joint program with Harvard Kennedy School of Government) and is about two-thirds complete with his Interdisciplinary Ed.D program at Columbia Teachers College. His GPA at Harvard was 3.73 and his GPA at Columbia is currently 4.3 (A+). 

Scott has over 22 years of experience in the field of education.  He uses dynamic systems modeling and diagnostic strategies to address adaptive challenges and solve complex problems in education.



He has met with and discussed education with former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, NY Times columnist Thomas Friedman, Emotional Intelligence author Daniel Goleman, Multiple Intelligences author Howard Gardner, historian and author David McCullough, author and head of Columbia University Earth Institute Jeffrey Sachs, author and activist Gloria Steinem, and author of psychology books, Dr. Wayne Dyer.
